We go to the Katalapi Park research center, which is also a nature sanctuary, a place where interesting scientific projects on ecology, flora and fauna are developed
Scientific communicators, in the field, will tell us about the research projects that are being developed in the center and we will learn about the flora and fauna of the temperate rainforest through a beautiful path designed especially for these purposes
It is another way of approaching nature with the help of professionals who are creating new knowledge and contributing to environmental conservation
After lunch, we go to the Alerce National Park to walk along a beautiful trail, recognizing the species learned and getting to know the Alerce, a long-lived native conifer with a long history of exploitation due to the benefits of its wood and which today is happily protected
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking, payable by payment link or bank transfer. The remaining 50% must be paid on the day of the tour by card, cash or bank transfer.
Prices are per person. Children up to 2 years old travel free of charge, while children aged 2 to 6 pay 50% of the tour price. All tours require a minimum of 2 adults, except the Chiloé & Penguin Colonies tour, which requires a minimum of 4 adults.
Tour departures are between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., depending on the tour and time of year. We will pick you up at your accommodation in Puerto Varas or nearby areas.
A 100% refund will be provided for cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled departure time. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before departure are non-refundable.
